Manufacture Engineering Specialist
About the role
In the ET division, the Manufacturing Engineering Specialist will support product industrialization and manufacturing efficiency by managing drawings, Bills of Materials (BOM), routings, process documents, and trial production follow-up. The role contributes to stable production, quality improvement, and process optimization through tools such as Auto CAD, Six Sigma, Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA), and 8D problem solving.
Key Responsibilities
- Review, update, and maintain existing product drawings, BOM, and routings to support accurate and efficient manufacturing execution.
- Participate in new product trial production, follow up the full trial process, identify process bottlenecks, and support effective technical solutions.
- Develop process plans, work instructions, and process control standards to improve production consistency and quality.
- Analyze process defects, efficiency losses, and production issues, and define improvement actions using engineering and problem-solving tools.
- Compile, update, and maintain mass production process documents, including Control Plans (CP), Standard Operating Procedures (SOP), and Process Flow Charts (PFC).
Requirements
Must-have
- Bachelor's degree or above in materials science, welding, mechanical engineering, mechatronics, industrial engineering, or a related discipline.
- 1 to 2 years of relevant experience in the mechanical industry. Outstanding fresh graduates are also welcome to apply.
- Knowledge of Auto CAD, SAP, Six Sigma, FMEA, 8D, and engineering tools.
- Familiarity with three-dimensional (3D) design software, such as INVENTOR and SolidWorks.
- Chinese language skills are mandatory, with good written English communication skills.
- Persistent, organized, and consistent in daily work, with the ability to complete tasks despite challenges or resistance.
Nice-to-have
- SAP experience is a plus.
