Job Summary: The Technical and Commercial Area Manager is responsible for overseeing the technical and commercial aspects of the business. This role ensures that the clients' technical and commercial needs are met, through reliable and innovative technologies, continuous and sustainable improvements, thorough documentation. The ultimate goal is to achieve customer satisfaction and business success. This position covers Latin America, excluding Mexico.
Main Responsibilities:
Maintain and expand an established customer base, prospecting new clients in both existing and emerging technologies using the De Nora group's product portfolio;
Provide exceptional customer service and support, addressing technical specifications and applications of the products;
Prepare and manage the annual budget, generate reports, and ensure financial results and customer satisfaction are achieved;
Collaborate with headquarters to identify new opportunities and technologies;
Lead the company's participation in industry events;
Manage the team to establish and meet business goals, overseeing the planning, organization, direction, and control of the commercial area and technical assistance;
Ensure compliance with Safety, Quality, Environment, and Occupational Health procedures to maintain safe working conditions.
Experience:
Proven experience in technical sales and in technical service sales;
Experience in sales within the Chlor-Alkali or Chlorate industry (preferred);
Experience in team management.
Skills:
Proficient in order and contract management, from acquisition to final delivery, ensuring planned prices and margins, in collaboration with operations management and other support areas;
Strong Account Management skills;
Ability to develop marketing, sales, and projection plans;
Competent in understanding and analyzing sales performance metrics;
Excellent customer service and relationship management skills with strong negotiation abilities;
Analytical skills with a focus on problem-solving;
Effective communication and team management skills;
Willingness to travel.
Education:
Degree in Engineering.
Languages:
Fluent in English;
Spanish (preferred).
