Executive Summary
Reporting to the Asia Financial Controller, the local Financial P&A/Controller is responsible for providing the financial, planning and controlling functions to the overall business and project-related activities for the local entities.
Main tasks and responsibilities
- Coordinate with Shanghai Accounting and Reporting team for monthly closing, ensuring alignment and compliance to Group Accounting Policy
- Perform monthly analysis of Singapore WT & ET financial results against budget/ forecast, involves utilization of SAP BPC system
- Prepare and maintain annual budget and forecasts, as well as monthly rolling forecast
- Develop and improve the reporting of KEY performance indicators and dashboards that monitor the business specifically for efficiency
- Overseeing annual audit as well as working closely with external auditors
- Monitoring net financial position, consistent and reliable cash foresight
- Working closely with project controller for Singapore projects’ cost and controlling progress of projects
- Prepare ad‐hoc analysis upon request of Internal and External Customers.
- To perform any other ad-hoc related duties as required.
Job Requirements
- At least 5 years’ working experience in FP&A / controlling
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting/finance or equivalent, CPA, CIMA, ACCA preferred
- Good written and spoken English, able to communicate effectively with colleagues and external parties
- Good computer literacy skills with software like Office365
- Sound and good knowledge of SAP, experience in rolling out SAP is a plus
- Project controlling experience is a plus
- Good team member who can work well across various departments as well as working independently with minimum supervision and result-oriented in a fast-paced environment
- Pro-active personality and meticulous; attentive to details with accuracy
- Able to adhere to tight deadline
