DNWT is experiencing a strong period of profitable growth as the direct result of global market focus together with increased organizational efficiency and productivity. To continue this trajectory, we're searching for a highly qualified Chief of Staff to work closely with the Chief Officer and the rest of the executive leadership team. The ideal candidate will have proven success in a business management role, with a special focus on providing executive-level strategic and operational support and inter-departmental collaboration. The person will be responsible for managing critical projects, driving key initiatives, and ensuring the smooth operation of our firm. This position will provide the opportunity to work with a talented global team of professionals and collaborate with stakeholders across the organization worldwide, developing innovative solutions and building relationships.
Responsibilities:
- Work closely with the Chief Officer to expand management band width by taking over some internal strategic projects’ planning and execution. This would include the responsibility for leading the implementation of new business initiatives, developing new teams/ capabilities, or managing complex cross-functional projects worldwide
- Implement, relentlessly track, and communicate KPls across the functions
- Coordinate and project manage the execution of assigned strategic initiatives, with specific responsibility for cross-functional delivery of key projects, ensuring smooth collaboration across multiple geographies and teams, tracking performance and successful completion of short and long-term goals
- Organize and gather information from various departments and meetings on assigned strategic priorities and report that information, along with recommendations, to the Chief Officer
- Deliver, and implement key actions, projects, and initiatives as the Chief Officer directs across the functions
- Review and analyze internal weekly reports/data, monthly reports / data, and prepare executive summaries. Ensure the executive summaries are practical and based on accurate information
- Attend internal and external meetings with and sometimes on behalf of the Chief Officer to ensure execution rhythm is maintained
- Overall lead and collaborate across the global regions, teams, and sub-teams to drive impact, overcome challenges, and build capabilities
- Supports management meetings coordination by developing outstanding management presentations, managing notes, reports, and action items
Requirements
- Superior analytical and project management capabilities. Proven ability in prioritizing workflows, working independently within tight deadlines, and collaborating across teams that are across different geographies with limited supervision
- Comfortable managing multiple projects across a wide variety of functional business functions
- Strong background in business strategy, leadership, and a good understanding of operations in a company
- Excellent interpersonal skills and a clear communicator across written and verbal communication; able to influence and collaborate with stakeholders across functions at all levels of experience and from various cultural backgrounds
- Creative and comfortable with 'blank sheet of paper' assignments
- Comfortable with ambiguity and identifying what may be needed to define clarity
- Discreet and trustworthy in handling sensitive commercial information and conducting discussions accordingly
- Minimum 3 years or more work experience as a Chief of Staff in an international organization, OR work experience in either a top-tier strategy consulting firm or in-house strategy team
- Strong analytical and synthesis skills, including ability to absorb and process large amounts of data into actionable information
- Able to work from the office and remote across multiple global time zones
- Able to travel when required
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree
- MBA is a plus
- PMP or Six Sigma certified is a plus
- Excellent proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 (mainly in PowerPoint and Excel)
