About the role
As CA EMEIA Regional Sales Manager, you will play a pivotal role in driving the growth and transformation of De Nora’s Chlor-Alkali business across EMEIA.

In this role, you will lead a multicultural team, develop strategic sales plans, and build strong relationships with key customers and stakeholders. Your leadership will be instrumental in achieving ambitious sales targets, expanding market share, and delivering high-value solutions tailored to the evolving needs of the Chlor-Alkali market.

Responsibilities
•    Strategic Leadership: Co-develop and implement the regional sales strategy, targets, and budgets in alignment with the Regional Sales Director. 
•    Sales Growth: Achieve and exceed sales and revenue goals for the CA business in the assigned regions. 
•    Market Expansion: Identify and capture new business opportunities to increase market share. 
•    Customer Engagement: Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with existing and new CA customers, ensuring high satisfaction and retention. 
•    Pipeline Management: Oversee the full sales cycle, from lead generation to deal closure. Assign objectives and action plans to the sales team, ensuring effective execution. 
•    Team Management: Lead, mentor, and develop a team of Sales Specialists and Inside Sales, fostering an inclusive and high-performance culture. 
•    Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with Marketing, Product Management, and Operations to align on business goals and deliver customer value. 
•    Market Intelligence: Conduct regular market and competitor analysis to anticipate trends, identify threats, and develop contingency strategies. 
•    Reporting: Prepare and present sales reports, forecasts, and performance metrics to senior management. 
•    Change Management: Support the Regional Sales Director in driving change and process improvement initiatives.

Requirements
•    Master’s degree, preferably in Chemistry or Chemical Engineering.
•    At least 15 years of relevant experience, with a minimum of 10 years in sales roles within the EMEA region, ideally in electrochemistry.
•    Strong technical knowledge of the CA market and industry trends.
•    Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.
•    Excellent analytical, negotiation, and closing skills.
•    Demonstrated leadership in managing multicultural teams.
•    Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; knowledge of German and/or Italian is a plus.
•    Ability to drive change, foster innovation, and adapt to evolving business needs.
Additional information
•    Willingness to travel more than 50% of the time. 
•    Experience with CRM systems is an advantage.
