The Rheologist will work as rheology specialist in the Gigafactory Fuel Cell Pilot Lab, focusing on activities towards the industrialization of GDE electrodes.

 

More in detail, the candidate will focus on:

  • Optimization of ink formulations for electrodes manufacturing

  • Physico-chemical characterization of inks with specific rheology tools

  • Support in the scale up of inks and electrodes designed in R&D

  • Manufacturing and ex situ characterization of GDEs towards their industrialization

  • Working in close collaboration with other R&D teams

  • Preparation of reports, elaboration protocols and operative procedures

  • Assistance in the procurement of materials, consumables and laboratory tools for chemical laboratory daily work

  • Laboratory good practices (5S)

 

Education and professional experience:

  • Ms degree in chemistry or material science

  • At least two years of experience in the industrial coating field

  • Technical skills in performing rheological measurements

  • English comprehension

  • Ability to execute and organize the assigned tasks with precision, autonomy and proactive attitude

 

The following features are considered a plus:

  • Experience with slot-die coaters

  • Ability of reviewing critically scientific literature
