The Instrumentation Engineer will be responsible for the selection of instruments, control devices and sensors of Hydrogen production systems.

 

More in detail, the candidate will focus on:

  • Development of technical solutions for Instrument & control systems in compliance with project and product specifications

  • Identification, qualification and technical selection of suppliers and subcontractors for the installation of the system

  • Development of the material requisition (including datasheet, specifications, vendor requirements, I/O list, etc)

  • Development of plan for maintaining and managing instrumentation & control system

  • Supporting the PM and PE in the assessment of the necessary engineering related to the projectDefine the main requirements of the plant instrumentation.

  • Draw up the list of instruments.

  • Check sizing calculations for flow meters, valves and proportional valves.

  • Participate in the solution of problems that arise during construction and commissioning and carry out intermediate or final tests.

  • Standardize and simplify instrumental systems in accordance with required performance, regulatory requirements, and cost optimization.

 

Education and professional experience:

  • Ms degree in chemical engineering / electronic engineering / automation engineering

  • 3+ years of experience in industrial fields

  • Knowledge of instrumental and automation international norms and regulations.

  • Knowledge of functional logics and cause-effect matrices.

  • Knowledge of PID adjustments.

  • Availability to travel to evaluate suppliers or supervise commissioning on site.

  • English comprehension.

  • Ability to execute and organize the assigned tasks with precision, autonomy, and proactive attitude.

 

The following features are considered a plus:

  • Knowledge of CAD tools
