The Purchasing Specialist will select and purchase materials, services, and equipment based on sales forecasts and production orders, at the lowest cost while meeting quality and timing requirements.

 

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

- Support Line Managers in identifying and implementing local/global procurement projects.
- Extract and analyze data using Business Intelligence (BI) and corporate reporting tools.
- Review and maintain procurement procedures at the local/global level.
- Analyze category spending and economic market trends. Report findings to the Line Manager.
- Support the negotiation and purchase of direct and indirect materials and services according to internal customer requirements and local/central/global procurement guidelines.
- Enter and expedite purchase orders.
- Research, evaluate, and qualify new suppliers.
- Support the SRM Go Live project and system configuration.
- Develop supplier evaluation and qualification with the support of the Line Manager.

 

Education and Professional Experience Requirements:

- High school diploma in Mechanical/Management Engineering.
- At least 3-4 years of experience in the procurement and purchasing department.

 

Technical Skills:

Good knowledge of English.
Good knowledge of MS Office, SAP, Power BI.
