For our De Nora Water Technology Business Unit - Milano Office - we are looking for a  Project Manager.

Main responsibilities are planning, organizing and ensuring the accomplishment of the assigned project(s), realizing on schedule and on budget all the requirements agreed with the customer(s); in details:

  • Analyse the project resources, budget, risks, action plan and KPI’s as handed over by the Proposal department for the project execution and highlight criticalities, if any,

  • Stimulate a proactive behaviour and focus on targets and efficiency,

  • Ensure the project implementation, applying project management methods and practices and sound judgment to accomplish the overall objectives,

  • Support the Line Manager in coordinating the relevant people as well as external workers, contractors, and vendors, according to the project requirements. Delegate responsibilities in a clear manner through project organization,

  • Pursue to the project success by promoting an atmosphere of trust, fairness, cooperation, and teamwork,

  • Ensure analyses of time, cost variances, and monitor project progress. Identify issue/gaps, review plans to mitigate risks and implement approved corrective actions as necessary and required. Prepare remedy actions and recovery plan (when necessary),

  • Be strongly oriented to project margins and variation claims to client, whenever possible,

  • Keep team and stakeholders informed and updated on status. Manage the communication and reporting related to project progresses, goals, and milestones,

  • Deliver project on time, budget, and quality constraints. Support change management,

  • Report to PM Manager the forecasted monthly costs and revenues for the year.

 

Education and professional experience

  • Master’s degree in engineering,

  • At least 5 years as Project Manager,

  • Deep knowledge of

    • Project management techniques and methods,

    • AutoCad,

    • MS Office (Project included),

    • Outlook,

    • SAP,

  • Attitude to Interpersonal relations is extremely relevant,

  • PMP or equivalent certification is a plus,

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. English is mandatory,

  • Strong attention to detail and ability to coordinate cross functional teams,

  • Confident, assertive and goal oriented. Ability to work under pressure to tight deadlines,

  • Attitude to schematize, systemic thought,

  • Experiences in managing kick-off/pre-inspection meetings, Factory/Site Acceptance Tests, commissioning, and start-up activities,

  • ISO 9001-2015 quality system. Familiarity with EHS regulations,

  • Analytical thinker.
