Are you ready to make a difference in a dynamic and innovative environment? Join us as a Global Operational Data Engineer and help transform the way we collect and use data to improve operational efficiency and sustainability.
Your main responsibilities will include:
- Contribute to the Global Operational Data Reporting: collect and integrate production data (produced parts, batch records, genealogy of finished goods, etc.), utility, waste and material usage data from various company production sites into a global reporting to be used as historical database by all internal customers.
- Measure and monitor the impact of investments: track the effect of the initiatives on operational efficiency, product quality, machine availability, company’s emissions, energy and water utilization, waste generation, material use and reuse.
- Support master data governance: perform massive analysis on master data quality as well as contributing to initiatives for streamlining master data management (e.g. reorganization of SAP Material Master, comprising material code creation and maintenance process).
- Provide necessary operational data for the preparation of ESG reports and update briefings for the ESG Steering Committee.
- Develop knowledge of operations principles and production processes, to support the definition of innovation projects towards lower impact without compromising product quality and workers’ safety.
The ideal candidate should have:
- Degree in Chemical Engineering, Material Science, Industrial Chemistry, Chemistry, Physics or related fields.
- Proficiency in English.
- Ability to execute and organize assigned tasks with precision, autonomy, and a proactive attitude.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Hands-on attitude.
- Willingness to travel.
Additional characteristics considered a plus:
- 1-2 years of experience in similar context
- Knowledge of German and Italian
- Experience with SAP Material Master and/or PLM/PDM systems.
- Experience in managing equipment data and production batch records, as well as energy, utility and waste data, according to ESG regulations.
