We are looking for a talented and passionate senior consultant in the Business Intelligence area, with solid specific experience in Microsoft Power BI, to join our team and work on challenging and innovative projects, leveraging the power of predictive analytics and machine learning, providing and guaranteeing the support and the evolution of the BI Platform, providing strategic and operational consultancy, contributing to the success of company projects.

The ideal candidate will be the point of reference for the BI solutions; he/she will have the following responsibilities:

 

  • Act as an ICT business partner for the internal customers, understanding their needs and translating them into advanced and optimized ICT solutions.

  • Actively participate in all phases of the software development life cycle, from design to adoption, applying project management methods and practices, achieving all requirements agreed within the expected timescales and costs.

  • Ensure the support and evolution of the BI platform, collaborating with the internal team and external partners to guarantee the quality and security of the BI solutions.

  • Keep the team and stakeholders informed and updated on status of the projects. Manage communication and reporting regarding project progress, objectives and milestones.

  • Constantly monitor the innovative solutions available on the market and propose new ideas and opportunities to improve the company’s performance and competitiveness. 

  • Support change management and facilitate the adoption of the BI solutions.

 

Education and professional experience

    • Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Economics or similar. Master's degree is a plus. 

    • At least 5 -7 years as ICT Demand Manager or Business Analyst or Senior Consultant, within a multinational company, with a proven experience in Power BI and relationship with C-Level

    • Proven experience in Data modeling combining various data sources such as SAP (eg. S/4Hana, BW/BPC, AFO), Salesforce, and other platforms. 

    • Proven experience in using data-visualization tools like Microsoft PowerBi. 

    • Expertise with forecasting tools is considered a valuable plus.
