We are looking for a Compliance Specialist to join our dynamic Legal Department at Industrie De Nora, located in Milano. The successful candidate will support the Group Compliance Manager in developing and maintaining robust compliance programs within the organization.

 

Key Responsibilities:
•    Develop and manage compliance programs focusing on Anti-Corruption measures.
•    Implement and monitor Trade control and Economic Sanctions compliance policies and provide other function with necessary update on relevant legislation, sanction screening, items restrictions.
•    Ensure the implementation and compliance of the Italian 231 model by our Italian subsidiaries.
•    Liaise with the legal counsels and other relevant functions in the subsidiaries of De Nora group to monitor and ensure the implementation at local level of the global policies adopted at corporate levels, including anti-corruption policies, export control procedures, whistleblowing policy
•    Identify compliance gaps and implement process improvements to enhance adherence and mitigate risks.
•    Review, finalize, and implement compliance policies to ensure adherence to internal and external requirements.
•    Organize and conduct ethics and compliance training programs across the subsidiaries.

Requirements:

  • A bachelor’s degree in law or business administration. 
  • Experience: at least 3 / 4 years of experience in a compliance role, preferably within a similar industry, and/or in a law firm or consultancy company specialized in compliance matters.
  • Good knowledge of International Trade and Economic Sanction legislations 
  • Comprehensive understanding of compliance frameworks, including Anti-Corruption and the Italian 231 model.
  • Fluency in English 
  • Compliance certification (CCEP-I or similar) as a strong plus.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify and mitigate compliance risks.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively conduct training programs and liaise with internal and external stakeholders.
