The Commissioning Engineer is responsible for execution of Service activities related to chemical, mechanical, electrical and control components and/or systems for DNIHT equipment in EMEA region with providing problem solving skills in the installation, testing and commissioning.
This position will be based at DNIHT Cologno office and will reporting operationally to Engineering group leader. In his/her role is request to:
• Execute the assigned mechanical, electrical, chemical, instrumentation field service activities
• Support the installed base to audit site visits and building service jobs pipeline for Aftersales
• Prepare the sites for installation and commissioning of complete plants interfacing with technical department.
• Coordinate the testing and commissioning of DNIHT projects and carry out troubleshooting at sites.
• Manage sub-contractors and assist with the installation of DNIHT equipment and find third party service companies, trains our existing reps. and gathering service competitive intelligence from sites.
• Effectively manage the service activities including preparation of material breakdown list and all requirements to launch the work, use of engineering documents and drawings (layout, process flow diagram, I/O list, Load list, SLD, HMI, loop diagrams).
• Use of SCADA, PLC & DCS
• Assembly work or FAT at vendor workshops
• Act in line with the applicable EHS standards and procedures
Education and professional experience:
• Master Degree in Mechanical / Electrical or equivalent with knowledge of PLC / SCADA / DCS
• Having work experience of > 3 years’ in mechanical/electrical works on site.
• Strong customer orientation
• Basic Knowledge of:
o mechanical installation
o electrical installation, especially LCP and transformer and rectifiers
o instrumentation
o PLC and SCADA products (HW-SW): Rockwell, Siemens, Schneider, GE Fanuc, Mitsubishi
• Ability to travel all over the world > 80% of working time and to properly interact with customers.
