Main tasks and responsibilities
The Electrical Engineer is responsible for providing expert electric assembly work guidance in workshop, electric technical support for assembly and testing, engineering work and analysis for the design and implementation of technical products and system.
- Supervising DNWT Product electric assembly work including cable connection, cable route, cable tray rout, instrument installation and connection, Panel installation, motor connection etc according to DNWT engineering documents and requirements.
- Perform connection check, internal testing of electrical and instrument components, PLC debugs.
- Responsible for the engineering of electric drawings for projects/products, such as Panel outline drawing, MCC panel drawing, electrical schematics, single Line diagram, cable routing & layout, electrical connection & wiring diagram etc.
- Responsible for the engineering of I/O list, Alarm list and cable list.
- Communicate with WT Engineering on workshop assembly engineering issue, feedback lesson learns and propose improvements.
- Perform factory acceptance test at De Nora/Supplier’s premises on skid packages, Control Panel & Transformer/ Rectifier.
- Provide engineering advice and support to production team, Project managers and other engineers
- Other duties as assigned by the management from time to time.
Education and professional experience
- Bachelor in Engineering (Electrical) with 7~10 years work experience.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and Electrical AutoCAD.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written In English.
- Ability to complete all kinds of electrical drawings independently.
- Ability to assist and work well with others.
- Have experience at site/field is plus.
- Initiative, target oriented, willing to work long hours and under pressure jointly and independently.
