  • 設計図（機械図面・配管設計図 P&ID）を読解し、関係各社と調整できる方

  • Officeスキル（Auto-CAD使用経験があれば尚可）

  • 国内外への出張が可能な方（年2回程度）

Job Title:  Production Engineering Specialist
Employment Type: Full-time Employee [3-month probation period]

Job Description:
■ You will be responsible for production technology work related to factory expansion and updating/introducing machinery and equipment.
[Job Details]

  • Creating specifications for manufacturers and engineering companies for updating, new introduction, and improvement of factories and machinery equipment.
  • Evaluation of technology and cost, meetings with various specialists, management of machinery equipment introduction schedule, trial operation evaluation.
  • Improving product quality and cost reduction through mass production process improvement.
  • Scheduling and budgeting for updating and new introduction of factory buildings and machinery equipment from a mid-to-long-term perspective.
  • Promoting efficiency, labor-saving, and automation of machinery equipment using IoT and DX.

Train: About 15 minutes by Kanachu Bus (to Tsujido Station or Bunkyo University) from Shonandai Station West Exit / About 10 minutes by taxi

Application Requirements

[Required]

  • Ability to read design drawings/machine drawings/piping design drawings (P&ID) and have experience negotiating with manufacturers and engineering companies (construction, machinery, electrical, etc.)
  • Proficiency in Office skills (Auto-CAD skills are welcome)
  • Knowledge in any of the following: mechanical/process piping, material mechanics, materials science, processing engineering, fluid mechanics, chemical engineering
  • Ability to persistently complete tasks
  • Willingness to travel domestically and internationally (about twice a year)

[Preferred]

  • Experience in new plant construction or similar projects

Education:
University graduate or higher, technical college graduates are also acceptable

Work Experience:
At least 5 years of relevant work experience

Language Skills:

  • English: Those who have a positive attitude towards English and are eager to take on new challenges.

    (There may be cases where you may communicate with with overseas parties via emails in English. Conversational English is a plus.)

  • Japanese: For those whose native language is not Japanese, business level or higher Japanese (enough to communicate smoothly at work)

PC Skills:
OS: Windows / Office: Word, Excel, PowerPoint (standard level)

Salary:
Monthly salary system
Annual income: 5 million yen to 8.25 million yen (monthly income: 300,000 yen to 500,000 yen)
The listed annual income includes bonuses

Selection Process:

  • First interview: Department manager class, HR
  • Aptitude test: Personality test (does not directly affect pass/fail)
  • Second interview: Department head, HR director

Note: The number of interviews may change depending on the situation. Interviews will be conducted online, at Yokohama Headquarters, or at Fujisawa Office.

If you come for the final interview from a distant location, we will cover round-trip transportation expenses (as specified by our company).
