Main tasks and responsibilities
Warehouse Senior specialist ensures shipping, receiving, and accepting, movement and storage of materials, hazardous goods, supplies and parts to and from the plant and the associated transactions and documentation and/or import and export activities.
Warehouse Supervisor shall:
- Ensure the proper material/product flow movements is in line production requirements, including flows in and out third parties sub-suppliers,
- Ensure the applicable document flows, either SAP based or not, both paperless and paper (Purchase Orders, central procurement forecasts, order verifications, routings, dispatch lists, etc.),
- Define measurement systems, according to quality control, time, and standard costs. Monitor warehouse performance. Report logistical issues and propose solutions,
- Propose improvements to transportation models. Lead their implementation,
- Monthly accounting closures,
- Cycle counting,
- 5s lean manufacturing
Education and professional experience
- High school,
- At least 5 years’ experience in warehousing,
- Experience/Knowledge of MS Office and SAP.
