Main tasks and responsibilities
The candidate will be an automation and digitalization engineer in the new Gigafactory. In his/her role he/she will work on digital twin of the factory, simulating production lines, assembly lines in other to predict KPIs and correlates digital results with real ones.
More in detail, the candidate will focus on:
• Model, simulate and optimize a comprehensive digital twin of our manufacturing processes.
• Use simulation and optimization for automated or manual production processes to evaluate and implement advanced manufacturing techniques, equipment and operations.
• Enable accurate impact analysis and efficient change management for factory layouts, line layouts and equipment designs.
• Working in close collaboration with other R&D teams and operation teams
• Preparation of reports, elaboration protocols and operative procedures
